Description
The mission of the Australian Department of Defence is to defend
Australia and its interests. Defence resources, including equipment and
personnel, will be directed to support this mission as first priority.
There are specific occasions, however where Defence may provide assistance to the civil community.
Non-emergency Defence Assistance to the Civil Community
(DACC) is the provision of Defence resources, equipment and/or
personnel in support of public events within the community.
The provision of DACC will only be considered if the request
is consistent with DACC policy and it does not compromise the Defence
Mission.
Requests for DACC are handled via regional Joint Operations Support Staff (JOSS).Patch is 75mm x 55mm and has hook fastening on the back.Note: Due to design change, when current stock has sold, this particular item will no longer be available from Manufacturer.
