Description
8th Combat Engineer Regiment (8 CER) is a Reserve unit of the Royal Australian Engineers. The regiment is part of 8th Brigade, 2nd Division.The Regiment’s role within the 8th Brigade is to provide Combat Engineer Support to the Brigade, carrying out battlefield oriented engineering tasks generally in support of the Brigade’s Infantry battalions.In many cases, the Combat Engineer Squadron will require Plant support from the Plant Troop.
